DR. SANDRA BARNETT

Dr. Sandra Barnett graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College in 1991. After graduation, she joined her husband in Ottawa where she worked for Dundas Veterinary Services from 1991-1996 doing equine and companion animal duties. Her husband's military duties then moved them west to Regina where Dr. B. worked with companion animals and some exotics/pocket pets from 1996-2003. Next stop was Florida for NATO duties at Tyndall Airforce Base in Panama City. During the 4 years (2003-2007) in Florida, Dr. B was able to pursue her interests in exotic animals where she did some zoo work as well as manage a greater number of in clinic cases, especially rabbits and reptiles. In 2007 another military move brought Dr.B. back to the eastern Ontario area where she has joined the Morrisburg Animal Hospital team. Dr.B. enjoys competing with her dogs in flyball, agility and terrier trials. She also breeds and raises Jack Russell Terriers. In her spare time she enjoys classical guitar, folk art painting, stained glass art and gardening.
